A Neurospicy Welcome

Hello weary traveller, by some freak of nature you have ended up in our corner of the internet. We are the different, weird and kooky types, the ones that society has looked down on. We will not look down on you

We are a family of four neurodivergent people who age from late 40s to early teens, consisting of three girls and one male. The adults in the relationship were not diagnosed until late in life after they both suffered from mental breaks. These were caused by trying to fit into the world, but not being able to work out why they were unable to work it out.

The children were found to be autistic (we try to avoid the medical term diagnosed) in their infancy, and have been supported by both of their parents (now separated) and the Australian government via the NDIS.

During her early childhood, Emma was diagnosed with ADD (now part of ADHD) and this was during a time when it was mostly boys being diagnosed. Both Lilian and Isabelle were diagnosed in their Primary School life. Stephen copped his awakening off Emma, and tried the Ritalin and could function much better.
